My favourite book. I read it every year and love it more every time; I always take something new from it. It is a collection of letters, it is a memoir, it is poetic and musical, simply and beautifully written, comforting and heartbreaking. This book is a therapist, a friend and a memory. If I could only ever keep one book, it would be this one.
