Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

5.0

(audiobook)
as you’d expect from any classic it’s going to be an slow read, full of details and twists that feel delayed but really built up to. usually you’ll be craving for the narrator to stop dancing around with words but that’s also what makes a read like this so interesting. the fact that i listen to the audiobook definitely helped and i’m so thankful that i did because i would’ve missed an amazing story.
before picking this up, i knew very little about the plot and it amazed me from start to end. i’m also thankful that i decided to start reading classics with Frankenstein because i feel like i liked it so much that i won’t be scared to pick up another one in the future.
there were so many plots and bits that happened in this book but my favorite parts were moments before the monster was created and when the monster itself tells their story.
loved this whole experience! thank you, Shelley!
