I really enjoyed this! The constant twists and turns kept me reading and reading, and though parts of the narrative felt slow, the last third of the book was exceptional. I think it’s a prime setup for the sequel and I’ll definitely be picking it up when it comes out.

I did often find myself frustrated with the main character, but I wonder if that wasn’t intentional by the author, since Sera’s stubbornness and recklessness is such a character trait and is mentioned over and over.

Overall, I’d recommend this one!
