Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

Umm I loved this?? Did not expect it to be this good, I was thinking maybe 3.5 or 4 stars. But the audiobook just made it. The characters felt so real, and it's a real love story. This was definitely better than Evelyn Hugo-- the framing device worked IN FAVOR of the story, not against it. It had minimal interference, as opposed to Evelyn Hugo where the framer played an obnoxiously large role. And even though I normally find song lyrics cringey in a book, in this one they just worked. I can't wait to read Malibu Rising.
