a sweet, light tale. great for interlude between more heavy books. the pacing was pretty even-keel but picked up towards the end- which also didn’t leave me too worried about the characters before going to sleep! my favorite was the characters’ discovery of the finer ingredients in life- I oft take for granted now. a nice metaphor…
