A Supernatural Slaying by Susan Harper

2.0

While I'm happy that adopted mystic-human hybrid Holly has found her biological father (and his family), otherwise this is my least favorite of the Back Room Bookstore Cozy Mystery books. It goes way too fast through the murder mystery part, and has little internal character development. We get barely anything about how Holly feels about finding this whole family. And the revelation about her mom and other spoilery things? Too fast, too superficial... way to much telling and not enough showing.
