I got this one as an arc, and I hate DNF'ing them, but this one wasn't anything I thought it would be. I picked it up thinking it would be more on the comedic side, and I wanted to see a funny rom-com as the synopsis promised, but it was way too on the sad/tragic side and did not have enough romance at all. I got 110 pages in, and they hadn't even kissed! She didn't even spend any time with him. She could stay at her brother's place with the supposed love interest but instead decided on couch hopping. It was more contemporary, and I just got bored with it and dreaded picking it up even though I tried my hardest to finish this one.
