It took me so long to get through this book even though it’s only 180 pages long. I’m not sure why it’s considered a cult classic. There’s not much of a story throughout the book and then all of a sudden, The last ten pages have a lot going on. The language and Frannie’s musings on slang got a little tiring and I ended up skimming over the last thirty pages.
