1.9/5 — it’s like i was being symbolically edged. i don’t think i’ve ever read a book with so much empty symbolism. all interesting choices, of course, but they went nowhere. it confused me and not in a good way. i give it a humble 1.9 for weirding me out and being a teensy bit gay.
