I can go 50/50 with this book. I love how short it is and once the action starts to pick up, it’s a really fast read. There are plenty of twists throughout the story and it keeps you on your toes, even if the plot is predictable. However, because this is so short, there is no development with any characters. There are small glimpses into the past, but nothing is ever explained and it leaves you with more questions than answers. There is also a ton of Astro jargon, which i appreciate to an extent, however some parts of the story deserved more explanation. For example, the literal aliens. The only reason I could picture something was because of the cover and that gives away the entire plot. There could have been so much more suspense had there been a different cover.

It was a good twist on aliens and space, but this book definitely needed more time to be great.
