Adair being in the streets and the bond he shared with Sonny was irrelevant, because this was simply a story of two people in denial about their feelings for one another. This novella both did and didn't end like I expected it to. I wanted less back and forth and more scenes of them together. The synopsis was misleading and made it seem like their story was going to be way more interesting than it actually was.
