Bring Me Your Midnight by Rachel Griffin

emotional hopeful mysterious

4.5

When I saw I got approved for the eARC on NetGalley I immeditaly started it!
If you're looking for some beautiful, witchy books Rachel Griffin got them for you!
The setting was so eerie and atmospheric I could almost hear the ocean myself even though I live hundreds of kilometers away from the sea.
All characters were very likeable and I enjoyed the relationships Tana, the female MC had to her parents and her best friend. I found Tana overall to be a relateable young adult.
I found the start a little slow and it took me a few pages to be fully invested in the story but everything worked out for me in the ending and I really like the pacing.
The magic system was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed the way they used the so called lower-magic. The process of infusing the perfum, which they later sold to mainlanders/non-witches sounded so interesting and beautiful!
This book is so much more than a witchy romance. It is about finding yourself, family & friendship, risking everything you love to find your true happiness. If you want to find out if it is all worth it, go and pick this book up! It is out August 1st 2023.

Thank you to Rachel Griffin, Sourcefire Books and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
