Initial thoughts after finishing: 
I did enjoy this book. I loved it. I do feel maybe confused or like I’m missing something. Mal is everything. The way that man fell hard and deep for Jo 🥰 The way he made others want to better themselves. The way he supported Jo through this book. We all need a Malcom James Waters in our lives. And don’t get me started on my excitement and love when a main character adopts an animal.
