Reese is 0/2 on trying to prove to me she can read.

I read this all in one sitting while floating around my neighborhood pool. I can’t think of a nice way to form my thoughts so I’ll just say it. It feels like this book was thought of, outlined on a napkin, and the outline was immediately sent to print without ever actually fleshing out the story or characters. The last 50 pages or so are sooo incredibly rushed that it felt like a PowerPoint presentation trying to wrap up loose ends rather than the continuation/ending of a story.
