I've been meaning to read this book forever and I'm so glad I finally did! It was a perfect balance of complex and loveable characters with intriguing plot and politics set in a world that was fascinating to explore and learn about. Compulsively readable, steady pacing, a good balance of action and emotion. I just really wish there had been a little bit more of an ending. It really felt like it just... stopped. And some of the POVs I found myself more invested in than others (helloooo Serapio), but overall I really enjoyed this book and already checked out the sequel from the library.
