I’ve heard such good things about this book, and I don’t really understand why. I do love rivals to lovers with pining tropes, but this really didn’t do it for me. I found Lucy incredibly annoying; there was no perspective from Josh, despite the incredible predictability of the plot. Also, Lucy’s bizarre obsession with Josh and little kid antics (jumping on him like a koala?) was uncomfortable and distracting.
