As a kid, book 5 was my favourite book and now that I'm rereading the series, this was my highly anticipated book. I'm happy to conclude that it is still my favourite book in the series (so far).

It's the funniest and most interesting book, with more colourful characters and things they had to endure. This book taught me sayings like "making a mountain out of a mole hill" or "following suit" that I've been using up until this day. I still think of this book when I see lasagna with salad, or picture crabs with staples, or someone saying "hee hee hee".

On top of all that, I was introduced to the Quagmire triplets that I used to love, and hopefully I can meet them again (as promised by Lemony himself) someday. They brought so much happiness and relief into the dreadful lives of the Baudelaire siblings, and their scenes together made my heart beat happily. If only Count Olaf wasn't such a "cakesniffer" but like the orphans, we can't always get what we want.
