This felt like a bleak fever dream wrapped in my best memories of college. I was belly laughing with my best friends one minute and utterly alone and cold and terrified the next. Catherine is not a house. Catherine is a seductress holding a plasm pin and a cookie so sweet it hurts your teeth but you can’t stop eating. I both miss college and regret everything, I want to see the world but I’m horrified by it. This was literally one of the best experiences I’ve ever had reading a book.
