How To Read Water, Walker's Guide to Outdoor Clues and Signs and Wild Signs and Star Paths 3 Books Collection Set by Tristan Gooley
5.0
amazing book, very fascinating
pros:
- the range of knowledge and thoroughness of this book is astounding, from tracking to navigation by the stars, to reading the sea.
- the writing is excellent, factual and clear but with some poetic and human emotion titbits and the later anecdotal chapters were very interesting - a mix between learning and a travel diary
- made me want to read more nonfic, especially about nature
cons:
- it is very long, which is great for thoroughness, but I did skip the last appendixes
- I found the city chapter not particularly interesting, but personal taste
overall a wonderful book and one I really want to reread asap, because there was just too much good info to absorb at once
