Catch Me When I Fall by Brittany Ann
4.0
“I’ve already fucking caught you, sunshine.”
Grayson!
Oh man I knew when we first met him in the Langston duet that he was going to be intense and oh baby is he!
It was finally Carries time, after everything she has been through. This woman has to overcome something that not many can on their own. Strength and the need to move forward are what propels her to move on and let go.
Grayson comes in because he’s hired to only to realize there is something about his target that just draws him in and won’t let go.
The strength in this book is beautiful. Carries struggles are so real life that it takes you into her world and won’t let go until the end. Her pain was so powerful in the way it needed to be to be the stronger person that she needed herself to be in order to get away.
The moments before Grayson and after Grayson are so damn perfect.
Grayson comes in and just.. is. He wants what he wants and he gets it although not before some bumps in the road and then a wall.
Brittany did it again with this one. Telling Carries story was so chest aching but real. This couldn’t have gone any differently except that ending.
Now we wait until book 2 comes out cause that cliffy was torture.
How will Grayson work through this?
