I like the idea of this book more than the execution. There are some really great concepts and very interesting world building the I really liked. The characters were also quirky and fun (shoutout to Hero, obviously he was my favorite), and the book had a fairly humorous and lighthearted tone for the most part. Unfortunately, the plot left a little bit to be desired. I think there was a bit too much to juggle and it left the pacing feeling kind of weird. And I honestly didn't jive with the writing all the much and it left it kind of hard to get through. I can see myself trying other books from this author in the future because the potential is definitely there.
