The book contains the most common clichés: closeted x opened gay and a lot of miscommunication which could have been easily avoided. The character development only happened at the very end of the book and was very rushed. In my opinion their relationship was a bit toxic, especially on Morgan's part. The miscommunication and the way they spoke to each other made me a bit uncomfortable.
