Despite the many fancy words, I liked Nabokov’s writing. It’s pretty interesting how he manages to make Humbert seem so civilised, considering, well, the story of this book. 😆

But I decided I’d had enough after about a quarter in and read a summary instead. I didn’t hate it, but there was no reason for me to continue. 🤷🏼‍♂️
