Mafia Virgin by Mila Finelli

5.0

I thought this was a great read! I read it in one sitting and it was just what my mood reader heart wanted.
Emma and Giacomo. Both forced by the mafia to marry each other to keep loved ones safe. For mafia reasons. The reason isn’t important. Point being, they married under duress and then both were trying to find their own ways out of the situation. Neither wanted to be married. He didn’t want a naive virginal Canadian med student. She didn’t want a tatted boxer mafia don 10+ years older than her. Sadly, they didn’t realize at first they had mutual interests and worked at cross purposes. But once Giacomo realized her curious mind and intellect, he leveraged it. And they slowly started to show trust and vulnerability.
I really liked the ending too. It resolved well. The mafia business provided some excitement at the end with the family struggles. Eventually Emma got to a place where she could reconcile loving him AND still follow her dreams to be a doctor.
