I expected The Matrimony to be a complex story about the aftermath of a marriage of convenience. I got that somewhat but not as much as I expected. I think the author relied heavily on spicy scenes but didn’t explore why the couple from The Vow relied on sex to solve problems instead of talking about them. The story is good, though repetitive at times.

Note: I listened to the audiobook and these narrators are much better than the ones from The Vow
