this is like the unfiltered version where they turn from being children to adults and obviously I dont have a daily struggle trying not to kill people with my hands but I think this book is so good at portraying the difficulties of growing up and having to deal with some things on your own (ik this isnt supposed to be the main message of the book but that's what I got from it :))
