This book is so powerful and I think everyone should read it. We need to understand the trauma survivors experience, and Chanel Miller reveals both her experience following her assault, as well as her experience through an unbearably long court case. I saw some reviews prior to reading this saying the memoir felt long, like it dragged on, and while I did not feel that way about this book in the slightest, I wonder how this several year process felt like to Chanel if that was a reaction to just reading about the process.
