Loved Nesta’s journey. Cassian and Az continue to delight. Weird to see Rhys and Feyre reduced to background characters, but it worked. The friendship between Nesta and other characters (and the house!) was really sweet. The development of those friendships was as important as the romance plot. It was such a fun detail to have Nesta and the others reading smutty romance. Speaking of which, the spice in this book - much better than the previous couple in the series. Holds up to CoMaF. *fans self* I hope we see Azriel’s, Elain’s and Mor’s stories (and maybe some combo of those) in future books. I am dying to know what happens to Elain and I am sure I am not alone in not loving a possible Lucian OTP and wondering about a possible why choose situation…
I agree with other reviewers that the plot is not perfect and sometimes unnecessarily convoluted but it really was an enjoyable read. 5 stars doesn’t mean perfection, but reflects more on my experience of reading it and if I would recommend to friends with similar interests.
