Blood Sugar by Sascha Rothchild
3.0
Imagine being accused of 4 murders when you know without a doubt that you only comitted 3 of them! Ruby is caught up in an extraordinary situation like this after the death of her beloved husband Jason.
You learn the details of the past of Ruby's 3 murders as it leads up her fighting to clear her name and providing that she did not murder her husband. Thank goodness her friend Roman was able to her legally assist her. This book started on a high (litterally) and mellowed out from the middle to the end but I can defintely see how important it is to have strong, supporting friendships and being cordial even to strangers becuase Ruby was about to go under the jail for all of this mess.
