The potential was there but not quite :( (spoilers ahead)

The beginning of the book opened out with our FMC being a child and seemingly loving to play captain with her father - to me, it gave me the impression that she deeply admired her father’s profession and loved the sea herself… so, I would’ve
loved to see a plot where her father saves her from her grandma, she’s excited to be on the sea but soon loses all passion for it due to what she experiences, but gains the passion back once MMC comes into play. w/ his love for the ocean it would have been v easy to reignite FMC’s passion 😪

this book is probably more realistic than that though as the author does do a good job to describe how stressful being in disguise is for our FMC, but i can still dream of a slightly stronger FMC for this book

anyways it was cute and i enjoyed the MMC but WHY DID THEY HAVE TO BRING PRENGNANHCY INTO IT AT THE ENDDDDDDDD
