Tied Up in Steele by Annabella Stone
4.0
"He really was tied up in Steele. He could only hope that Steele was just as hogtied to him."
Oh man the ride that this book was..
Steele & Kalon
The hard ass with the nerd never gets old.
I was surprised but not surprised to know that these two had history since it was mentioned in Book 1 but what that actual history was, I didn't know.
Phew when it was revealed I had that "I knew it!" moment but it didn't last long at all and I was shattered right along with Kalon because, damn Steele.
Steele & Kalon are the most unlikely to get together but it works in the best of ways until it doesn't and someone gets hurt, or in this case multiple someones.
The ups and downs will have you going one way, thinking one way only to turn around and throw yet another curve ball and things just change that quickly.
Steele gives up the one person that he doesn't want to because of a mission that he has to do, an undercover one. His cover is the problem and the reason that he loses the one person who told him to leave, hurting him also hurt him in turn but orders are orders and he can't say no.
Kalon had to let go and move on, or as much as one can when the person you love hurt you in a way that you didn't see coming in the slightest. How do you come back from that? Is there even a way to?
Things take a wrong turn multiple times and after rescuing Steele what else could go wrong?
What would it take to make things more clear for these two?
I wasn't ready for what happens, not in the slightest. The eye sting was in full effect.
This series has become an addiction that I just cannot stop. I cant put them down I always want to know what is next and who is next.
Full of suspense, adrenaline, a hell of a lot of anxiety inducing parts, and so much more is what you can expect.
