This book was a lovely, whimsical, cozy fantasy that I really enjoyed! Every place described was so easy to picture, and I fell in love with the unique cast of characters so quickly. The different magical creatures were a fun addition too! The only drawbacks for me was it was almost *too* whimsical at times and I found myself almost craving some conflict, as weird as that sounded. The middle of the book was pretty slow and I felt some important plot points were left behind. Otherwise it was a perfect read for fall!
