i actually really liked this book. terrible subject obviously but i loved the speculating i got to do

p16: get out they are going to rape you
p23: nooo wrong, you don’t hang up the phone til the paramedics actually get there!
p24: i mean he could be another rapist, but probably not
p49: oh shit the drink! that settles it, never letting anyone else get me drinks

I didn't want to talk to the police. It was embarrassing, and scary, and made me feel stupid, but I did. But I've been written off as unreliable — for the most bullshit reason ever!
"Nice boys" don't do things like this. Whereas girls like me are drama queens.
I'm so angry I'm actually shaking. How come boys automatically get excused and girls blamed? I want to break something, or scream at somebody.
