Woah…
While I definitely agree with many of the criticisms, I can’t ignore how this book made me feel. First off, yes it could’ve been shorter. I think we could have forgone most of Os and Rissa’s chapters given the vast amount of development for Queen Malina. I am a certified Malina hater and I admittedly have skimmed over every one of her chapters in the previous books, but Raven made me fall in love with the Cold Queen. Slade’s revenge tour was chef’s kiss and it was about time to see Auren truly stand on her own. Many of my predictions were confirmed although there are still so many questions that need answering. This book wasn’t perfect, but I loved it all the same.
