Twelve Slays of Christmas by Jacqueline Frost

4.0

The first thing I noticed was that this has mega Stars Hollow vibes—as a result, I became pretty invested early in, despite the fact that it starts out like SO MANY other small town Christmas novels.

Small town with wacky /chaotic residents.
Christmastime.
Murder-mystery.
A bit of action.
Farm life … ish.
New friends and second chances.
Fresh start vibes.

Overall:
Both police-procedural and cozy mystery in one—very cute. Would read more set in this town, holiday or otherwise themed.
