For a book that's marketed as a smutty Hades & Persephone retelling, the author didn't seem to know much about smut or the original mythology. I was bored reading this book, especially during the smut scenes, and the writing was bland at best. It's a very quick read, though, but immediately put me in a reading slump for the rest of the month. Also, it's very "good girl gets saved by misunderstood bad boy" (blegh).
