This was so silly, and so fun too. It seems to have been written for millenial Twilight fans to have a good time, and it certainly achieved that - for the most part, I really enjoyed the female friendship in this and the group of Vampires they fall in with were interesting, and memorable.
Escaping a boring marriage and an unfulfilling relationship on a birthday vacation, best friends Sloane and Naomi have a truly wild night at a castle and end up trying to deal with the consequences on a road trip, with an all consuming thirst. This road trip did let the story down a bit, as it became repetative and a little boring.
I thought this got a sold ending, and at 300 pages the story didn't drag on too much, staying light and fun throughout, although with a lot of blood and gore. I did wish that we got a proper moment of Sloane confronting her husband, and I might even be open to reading a sequel to this. It could be smuttier though.
