“Sleep sweet, Pumpkin. I’ll come for you. You will be mine.”
“Well, alright then, drive-thru and murder scene it is.”
“What’s real? What’s fake? What does it matter?”
“Part of me will forever be yours.”
Dark, mysterious and spicy reimagining of Sleepy Hollow.
The connection between Izzy and the horseman was so strong right from the beginning, even though Izzy didn’t really realize it at first.
The storyline kept me hooked and I couldn’t put the book down. Like the characters themselves said, it wasn’t always clear what was real and what was fake, who was one of the “good guys”, etc.
The plot twist at the end left me speechless. I need to reread this at some point because I’m sure I missed a lot of clues along the way.
Perfect spooky season read. I wouldn’t recommend drinking creamy pumpkin spice latte while reading this.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
