Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

I liked the spare voice of this one. When things really started happening later and the narrative style or maybe it was the pace changed a little, I enjoyed it less, even if things really did need to happen (and thus be described) in the book. I hadn't read Ishiguro yet. I don't know if this is typical of his work or not. I thought about George Saunders a lot while reading this one.
