Batting Style by Louisa Masters

3.0

“I want you to be happy. I want you to achieve your goals.”

The sweetness of this story softened the eye sting.
I wasn't sure what way this was going to go after meeting Jordan in book 2.
I was definitely not expecting this.

Jordan & Blaise are that couple that just mesh so well together that it never occurs to them that how they are with each other is how a relationship is. When they figure it out though that's when it seems to pick up in pace.
Blaise is almost the calm to Jordans ever present hyperness.
Jordan keeps things interesting in his quest to explore what he is as far as his sexuality goes.
Both these guys go through what is not seen much in books but what happens in real world. Jordan may have a one up on Blaise because of his family but that isn't to say that isn't a possible scenario outside of a book.
Louisa has a way of writing situations that could be taken off page and put into real world with a real couple and it makes her writing hit that much harder to me. Car problems, money problems, family drama and the best friends who rally for you.

This book is more centered around the plot and the characters other than spice and its nice to get that and you can count on this author to deliver.
Acceptance along with stubbornness and being far to proud are the stand outs in this book.
Sometimes accepting help even just something small can make all the difference to the person you love.

This time around for Franklin U we are getting some interesting couples! I cannot wait to see what else is in store!
