Don’t be surprised when you pick up your own copy of this book and you fall in love with it. It has all the elements of a 5 star read in my opinion. Well developed characters. Family drama. Heartbreak. Love. And of course history written in throughout it.

This story follows a nurse before, during, and after Vietnam. You see her perspective on things and just how difficult it was when when they returned.

Trigger warning - it will describe a suicide attempt, some time spent in a psychiatric facility, and PTSD.
