was handled and described from the point of view of the two main characters echoed a lot of what I've experienced in my own marriage and healing process, which really made the story that much more engaging for me. I found their miscommunications somewhat frustrating, but not in a distracting way- their disagreements were believable and usually resolved quickly enough to not make me uncomfortable for long. There were some tropes used in the romance aspect of the storyline that I genuinely found endearing and adorable, like

"oh no, we're stranded in the wilderness and have to share a sleeping bag to fight off hypothermia"

. I usually hate romance but I was rooting for these guys the whole time!
