A great installment for this series! I felt like the last few were just kind of “phoned in”. This one - I was invested in Ariadne and Minotaur. Can it get any better than the hero being so obsessed for decades?? I’m glad Ariadne finally figured out that his loyalty was to her - not her father. Once she had that sorted, she allowed her feelings to expand beyond lust.

I also enjoyed that the cast of characters were expanded in this book. Seeing more of Dionysus, Hera, Hermes, Poseidon. Even Athena had a few lines. I am so ready for the Poseidon and Icarus story next. The ending of this one was action packed to the end. While the main couple succeeded in their goals, and it’s set up as a HFN/HEA I feel like I need assurances. I wouldn’t mind a bonus scene in future detailing their lives a year in the future. Seeing Minotaur as a dad. Can you even imagine?!

Anyway - this book has tons of action, plots, scheming, double crossing. I can see the direction set for the books to follow.
