A wonderful finish to the story of Lord Crane and Stephen Day. The stakes are heightened, justiciars are in trouble, horrifying magic is killing police, and Crane and Day are facing conflict over Stephen’s work. I don’t want to give a lot away because the journey is a lot of the fun. The trilogy for Crane and Day is a great historical fantasy MM romance. I am looking forward to Jackdaw and a new MC.
I listened to the audiobook with Cornell Collins. He did another bang-up job. His narration has been great in every book I’ve listened to with him as narrator.
In short, I loved these books. Listen to the audio for extra levels of goodness.
