I’m…..genuinely shocked? At how good this was? I had zero expectations because holiday books have sucked lately. This one was so charming and the enmeshed boundaries/codependency within one of the character’s family and the impact it had on their romantic relationship(s) is so insanely relatable and I felt CALLED OUT. I love that both stories/perspectives were equally interesting and had their own unique vibes.
