I just loved this YA novel. Persian-American teen Darius feels out of place (didn’t we all?), and he deals with depression. When his mother learns that his grandfather in Iran has terminal cancer, the whole family travels to Iran. There, Darius learns more about his heritage, himself and friendship. As a bonus, the reader learns more about Iran.
