What I Did Like:
+The main character is great. She’s a strong badass who doesn’t apologize for who she is or what she’s done. She has a clear purpose.
+The back half of the story moves FAST and leads beautifully into the sequel. It’s captivating.
+Found family! Easily my favorite trope. This time it’s combined with a sort of reluctant grump who doesn’t want family, which somehow makes it even better. Loved the way this crew came together.

Who Should Read This One:
-Fans of found family reluctant hero stories who want a bad ass grumpy girl as their main character.
-Space future fans. This book involves planetary travel, technology, and an empire. Excellent for space fans.
