The witch Evelyn Rosewood seizes the chance to free her from her contract early by lifting a curse in the port city. In the city she sets up a potion store. Along with her judgy owl familiar Archie she tries to lift the curse.

A Drop of Fortune is a cosy fantasy filled with witches, fae, orcs and many more fantasy creatures. I enjoyed the world building. I do think I, personally, enjoy cosy fantasy more if I physically read the book (or a physical book combined with an audiobook!)

The audiobook was lovely narrated by Amanda Ronconi! I really enjoyed listening to her voice.
