Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid
4.0
It's hard to go into details about why I enjoyed this book without giving it all away. I wasn't sure how it would be juggling between the two different storylines, but I did not have an issue with that at all!
I'll summarize by saying that this was a great read with themes of family bonds (blood relatives and chosen family), female friendship and support, and of course touches on the idea of fate/destiny and free will.
It doesn't get 5 stars because I'm in the medical field and some of the sub-plot related to healthcare and medicine would NEVER happen. Even though I shook my head at these instances, I was still fully drawn into the story and rooting for Hannah no matter which storyline I was reading.
