I wanted to read this book for so long and Iβm so happy that I finally picked it up.
For some reason I havenβt expected my eyes filling up with tears only in chapter one but as the author described Pope John Paul IIβs last days and words I couldnβt hold back my tears. I donβt know a lot about him yet as I wasnβt even one year old by the time of his death but I can tell he was a great Pope by the way the author was describing how much they loved him.
This was such a fascinating dual biography on the two popes lives. I really enjoyed learning more about Benedictβs and Francisβs past and just getting a closer look on the Vatican. I learned so much from this book, I highly recommend reading it if youβre interested in learning more of the two popes and their story.
And now after I have read this phenomenal book Iβm looking forward watching the movie adaptation on Netflix.
