I wanted to read this book for so long and I’m so happy that I finally picked it up.

For some reason I haven’t expected my eyes filling up with tears only in chapter one but as the author described Pope John Paul II’s last days and words I couldn’t hold back my tears. I don’t know a lot about him yet as I wasn’t even one year old by the time of his death but I can tell he was a great Pope by the way the author was describing how much they loved him.

This was such a fascinating dual biography on the two popes lives. I really enjoyed learning more about Benedict’s and Francis’s past and just getting a closer look on the Vatican. I learned so much from this book, I highly recommend reading it if you’re interested in learning more of the two popes and their story.

And now after I have read this phenomenal book I’m looking forward watching the movie adaptation on Netflix.
